A New Series

Thu Jul 16, 2009, 9:16 AM
My experiments with photography continue. I've now tried my hand at "glamour" and portraits that have esentially been posed. Something that I haven't really tried or attempted before. This new series takes inspiration from several photographers, including so many on DA. I'm thankful to all of them for their support and art.

Would appreciate any volunteers/amateur models who wouldnt mind experimenting. Message me!

Would love feedback on the new work! - this is a continuing series so do check in... :)

DEVENDRA BANHART. i've been wanting to listen to him as well. hahaha..

its not metal-metal.. definitely not the headachy sort.. quite mmm err... ambient and nice on the ears. maybe you'll like it give it a try.

testament is not religious. is a heavy metal band but the song i suggested is a marvellous acoustic number.

madhumitha, i do listen to coldplay, radiohead, rhcp, banhart, django, deathcab, jeeferson airplane, kris kristofferson, mia doi todd, muse, the dissociatives, travis, sufjan stevens, the hoosiers, the killers, dylan, sigur ross, the moutain goats... the list goes on.. some of my friends initiated me into the new stuff too.. they think i'm all old people music. Im not all ancient as i may suggest. but i try to keep away from heavy metal and rap as much as possible. they give me a head ache!

Havent heard of testament. sounds very religious. i hope they are not preachy? never heard of some other guys you mentioned. damien rice yes. will try them out..sure thing.

whoa whoa whoa little sister. one bullet at a time! i dont know where to start. suggest you start with CCR's "greatest hits". they have a raw sound. See if you like them then work your way up. nice to know you like same kind of music. i never graduated from old school.

No, im NOT on flickr. DA is enough for me. flickr is for amateur stuff i think. not that DA is not. but flickr is not good enough.
